FFTA Round 6 at Colne Valley……… starts as always with a very boggy walk to the ground this in itself is a very tricky course to master. Once through the bog we were greeted by an old container and a small camping tent where the good ladies booked us all in for the day.
The weather stayed kind for us on the day the wind was mainly for behind the shooter which kept you on your toes left to right, until we turned the corner for the ten shots out in less covered foliage which was a different set of rules. Shooting off plate for some of these was the point of aim which does take some nerve to do. A very tricky day but enjoyable day had by all even if we didn’t go home with the result we expected.
